About me
Counseling was always a calling for me, though it ultimately became my second career.
Before entering the mental health field, I served 12 years in the military, including a deployment. That chapter of my life shaped me in profound ways — both through leadership and resilience, and through the personal impact of trauma. Like many service members, I experienced the lasting effects of PTSD. Seeking my own counseling was not only a turning point in my healing, but also a defining moment that brought me back to what I had always known deep down: I was meant to do this work.
My path into therapy is not purely academic — it is lived. I understand, firsthand, the complexity of trauma, the hesitation that can come with asking for help, and the strength it takes to engage in the process. That experience informs the way I show up for clients: steady, structured, and deeply respectful of the nervous system’s role in healing.
Today, I specialize in trauma-focused work using approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, and Neurofeedback. My work integrates psychological insight with brain-based regulation to support deeper and lasting change.
Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity-related stress, or life transitions, my goal is to create a space that is grounded, collaborative, and growth-oriented.
